Sharon Price has been practising Yoga since 2000 and teaching since 2004. She is a fully qualified teacher with the British Wheel of Yoga and has completed the BWY Children's Module with Michelle Chessbrough, the BWY Pranayama module with Philip Xerri and the BWY Philosophy module with Peter Connolly.
Her teaching experience includes LEA classes, adult yoga, gentle yoga for the elderly, family yoga classes, school yoga workshops, private classes and personal tuition. Sharon also organises weekend yoga retreats and workshops for adults.
Sharon attends regular BWY Yoga seminars and other Yoga workshops which have helped her to develop her own personal Yoga practice and apply this knowledge to her own teaching. Her classes are well-structured, her instruction clear and her approach to teaching strong and yet sensitive to the needs of individual students. She believes that, as stated by B.K.S Iyengar, “words cannot convey the value of yoga—it has to be experienced”. This is why she enjoys sharing with her students the benefits that Yoga can bring to our lives.
Sharon is a qualified First-Aider and has CRB approval for working with children. She has full personal liability insurance cover provided by the British Wheel of Yoga.
